Emergency Roadside Assistance Service by ERGO Insurance

This benefit is available to insured customers who hold voluntary motor insurance policies (Types 1, 2, 3, 2+, 3+) for private passenger cars (code 110), private vans (code 210), and pickup trucks (code 320), excluding modified pickups (e.g., extended chassis, reinforced suspension/axles). The following emergency assistance services are provided:

24/7 Roadside Assistance Services

  • 24-hour technical consultation via phone in case of vehicle breakdown
  • Emergency fuel delivery (up to 10 liters per incident), limited to once per year, applicable only when the vehicle runs out of fuel and cannot be driven
  • Emergency on-site repair service for basic assistance, limited to once per year
  • Emergency locksmith service in case of lost or locked keys, including: delivery of spare keys (within 20 km), or on-site locksmith service to unlock the vehicle
  • Emergency towing service up to 25 km per incident (once per year)
  • Continuation of journey service, including arrangement of a replacement car, accommodation, or public transportation tickets

Additional Conditions

  • The above services are available only within Thailand, and for vehicles not exceeding 20 years of age. Eligible insured customers may contact the service via the phone number provided below or review the service conditions at www.ergo.co.th. Applicable only to specified policies with coverage starting from January 1, 2023 onwards
  • 24-hour technical consultation via telephone in case of vehicle breakdown. Emergency fuel delivery service not exceeding 10 liters per incident. Members are entitled to use this service once per year only when the vehicle runs out of fuel while driving and cannot continue operating
  • Emergency on-site repair service to provide basic assistance at the incident location. Members are entitled to use this service once per year, with a limit not exceeding 1,000 THB (excluding spare parts or additional equipment). Any excess costs shall be borne by the member
  • Emergency locksmith service in case of forgotten or lost keys. Members may choose one of the following options: spare key delivery service within a distance not exceeding 20 kilometers per incident (once per year). Any additional distance will be charged at 25 THB per kilometer. Alternatively, on-site locksmith service to unlock the vehicle, with service fees borne by the member
  • Emergency towing service within a distance of 25 kilometers per incident, limited to once per year. Any distance exceeding 25 kilometers will be charged at 25 THB per kilometer
  • Continuation of journey service: In the event that the member is traveling at least 100 kilometers away from their residence and the vehicle breaks down, resulting in towing to a service center and cannot be repaired within 24 hours, the service provider will coordinate to arrange either a replacement vehicle, hotel accommodation, or public transportation tickets for the member during the repair period, upon request. Any associated costs shall be borne by the member

Exclusions for roadside emergency assistance services

  • Vehicles that have been modified or altered without authorization according to the manufacturer’s standards, or vehicles modified for racing or competition, including any accidents or claims arising from such activities

  • Vehicles carrying passengers or goods, or towing loads exceeding the manufacturer’s specified capacity, or being used for purposes other than intended

  • Loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, civil war, revolution, rebellion, public uprising, riots, or strikes

  • Incidents occurring outside Thailand or in areas such as islands where ferry access is not available

  • Expenses arising from breakdowns caused by fuel depletion, engine oil shortage, overheating, or flat tires. However, the service provider may assist in coordinating support, with all costs borne by the user

  • The service provider shall not be responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings or vehicle accessories left inside or outside the vehicle

  • The service provider shall not be responsible for expenses related to damages resulting from manufacturer vehicle recalls

  • The service provider shall not be responsible for expenses or losses arising from repairs carried out by non-standard repair centers or due to errors by repair personnel within 14 days after the repair

  • The service provider shall not be responsible for expenses arising from the installation of accessories that are not from or not approved by the vehicle manufacturer
